Anytime I’ve had a “cheat” day or meal, I love to drink this juice recipe the following morning on an empty stomach. It really gets the junk out of your system much quicker than normal – if you know what I mean!
If you suffer from constipation, instead of using laxatives – which are harmful to the colon – try this juice recipe instead. The citric acid from the oranges are great at latching onto toxins, mucus, and waste and excreting them quickly out of your system while the apples help to nourish and strengthen the colon.
Plus, this juice is absolutely delicious for a morning meal replacement. On another note, if you’re looking to lose weight, replace your breakfast with this juice for a week and watch how quickly you see results!
- 3 Jumbo Naval Oranges
- 3 Medium sized Apples (I like Fuji or Pink Lady with this mixture)
- 1-2 Knuckles of Ginger Root (1 Knuckle is about 1-2 inches)
- 1/2 Cucumber
- Add all ingredients to a juicer (remove peel from oranges)
- If you do not have a juicer, add ingredients and water to a blender. Then, strain the juice through a Nut Milk Bag, very fine mesh strainer, or a multi-layered cheesecloth.
