Colon Cleansing Juice – Get Those Bowels Moving!

Anytime I’ve had a “cheat” day or meal, I love to drink this juice recipe the following morning on an empty stomach. It really gets the junk out of your system much quicker than normal – if you know what I mean!

If you suffer from constipation, instead of using laxatives – which are harmful to the colon – try this juice recipe instead. The citric acid from the oranges are great at latching onto toxins, mucus, and waste and excreting them quickly out of your system while the apples help to nourish and strengthen the colon.

Plus, this juice is absolutely delicious for a morning meal replacement. On another note, if you’re looking to lose weight, replace your breakfast with this juice for a week and watch how quickly you see results!




  • 3 Jumbo Naval Oranges
  • 3 Medium sized Apples (I like Fuji or Pink Lady with this mixture)
  • 1-2 Knuckles of Ginger Root (1 Knuckle is about 1-2 inches)
  • 1/2 Cucumber


  • Add all ingredients to a juicer (remove peel from oranges)
  • If you do not have a juicer, add ingredients and water to a blender.  Then, strain the juice through a Nut Milk Bag, very fine mesh strainer, or a multi-layered cheesecloth.

    I was wondering if you could help me out back in 2007 I had a stroke and was completely paralyzed I was 21yrs old. I am now 30 yrs old and I am always suffering constipation. My doctors always gives my laxatives I hate them bc I don’t have time to sit by the bathroom I have a part time job. I also been spending a lot of money on it works products,magnesium etc.. nothing is working for me I been drinking alot more water and eating alot healthier nothing I just don’t get it.. I am also on medication that does cause constipation but I do need it tho. If u could help me out I would really appreciate it. I would just love to have my life back thank you so much.

    • Hi Sara.. Well this juice isn’t a laxative, so it won’t give immediate effects (however it does in me) with some people. Also, it depends on when you drink the juice. For instance, if you drink it in the morning on an empty stomach, the results will be better and come faster for most. The key though is to drink this concoction a few times per week. And, over time, it’ll help to cleanse the colon. If you’re looking for faster relief (in a natural way), try sipping on an herbal laxative tea, such as Smooth Move.
